DAY 1: Frankfurt - Rothenburg
Depart from Frankfurt for a picturesque drive through the Spessart mountains to Wuerzburg, on the banks of the river Main. Continue on the Romantic Road to Rothenburg ob der Tauber, Germany’s well-preserved "Jewel of the Middle Ages" with its ramparts, city gates, town hall and Jakobskirche (church) with an altar by the famous wood-carver Tilman Riemenschneider. Upon arrival in Rothenburg, a taxi will take you to your hotel. In the afternoon or evening please join the city walk with a local guide or the historic Night Watchman in Rothenburg. Overnight at Hotel Spitzweg or similar.

DAY 2:Rothenburg - Augsburg (B)
After breakfast, a taxi will meet you at your hotel and take you to the bus stop. Your coach drives along the Romantic Road passing such picturesque places as Dinkelsbuehl and Noerdlingen, with high-gabled houses and cobbledstone streets. Arrival at Augsburg in the early afternoon. Overnight at Inter City Hotel or similar.

DAY 3: Augsburg - Munich (B)
After breakfast, you are invited to go on a city tour starting at the City Hall. You will get to know all important sights of Augsburg, which is famous for old trading dynasties (the Fuggers). In the late afternoon, you re-board the coach to Munich. Overnight at InterCityHotel or similar.

DAY 4: Munich - Zugspitze - Munich (B)
In the morning please take the train from Munich train station to Garmisch-Partenkirchen. From there you take a cable car up to Germany’s highest peak. Enjoy the breathtaking view from the Zugspitze. In the afternoon you will travel to Munich by train. Overnight at InterCityHotel or similar.

DAY 5: Munich (B)
The tour ends with breakfast.Reverse itinerary:

Reverse itinerary: Tour ends in Frankfurt at approx. 7:30 p.m.

Hotel Intercity, Frankfurt City Center (3star)
Directly at the main railway station, the hotel is located right in the city center of Frankfurt. It can easily be reached by S-Bahn (city train) from the airport, and to the main shopping district and the theaters of Frankfurt it is only a few steps or a short ride by underground. A public transport pass for Frankfurt and to the airport area is included in the price of your overnight stay and valid for the length of your stay. The hotel provides a nice restaurant and a bar. All rooms are very quiet and have bath or shower/WC, telephone, colour TV, video and hairdryer.
